Lists of obverse and reverse die descriptions and specifications are followed by profusely illustrated chronological listings of die pairings with cross-references to Charles Wilson Peck's, Michael Freeman's, Michael Gouby's, Malcolm Lewendon's, Iain Dracott's and David Groom's numbering systems for easy identification and cross-referencing.

This book includes all 121 currently known predecimal British bronze farthing die pairings (21 obverse designs and 15 reverse designs) and 202 currently known British bronze halfpenny die pairings (34 obverse designs and 51 reverse designs) issued during the reigns of Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, King Edward VIII, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. There are high resolution photos of almost all of the obverse and reverse designs along with detailed descriptions to help easily distinguish the different dies.
